Anyone worried about falling into a vat of food and booze at Xmas? I need to be strong in the face of ny favourite food and drink!!
I'm planning an avoidance strategy - haha.
More seriously I'm allowing myself a free pass on company Xmas do and on Xmas day but that's it. I've lost 2.5stone and I don't want to stumble.
Hey Dazey and TrevP, I feel the same. My December plan: pick two yes days (work do and Christmas Day). Other days: protein and veg first, one plate, no refills. Two drinks max or leave after three hours, water between drinks. Day before and after an event: walk, higher protein, early night. If it goes off plan, hydrate, take a 20–30 minute walk, eat normally next day, no guilt. I will bring a dish that suits my plan and use a simple line when pushed: I am pacing myself. What boundary feels realistic for you this month?
Yes, it is tense but I have now so changed my drinking and eating habits that its no concern. Everyone knows I am on the Monj....and if they don't I tell them! What I am looking forward to is being FABULOUS for the party season 😍 😍 😍 😍
o*g I know it’s easier isn’t it when you don’t have to go to parties but after all the times I’ve passed on all the yummy things on wld, I’m going to be kind to myself allow myself to enjoy some of the Xmas nibbles and cocktails. Although I’ll be sticking to low calorie drinks and nothing too creamy as I know I’ll feel terrible otherwise. We’ve lost weight to feel good and show our bodies off, what better way than with our friends and family at Xmas. I must keep telling myself that nothing tastes as good as skinny feels if I get too tempted by all the Xmas chocolates 😂
