Here’s the short version: the US prices Trump announced earlier this week were quoted in a broad range of about $149 to $350 a month. At today’s rates, that is roughly £115 to £265. The announcement was light on specifics about which drug and which dose those figures apply to, but that range is broadly in line with (and in some cases above) what many UK private-prescription users are already paying. So there is no obvious reason to expect UK prices to drop because of the US move. Our prices here are set by UK-specific factors, such as manufacturer rebates and pharmacy mark-ups by dose, which were not affected by the US deal. Hope this helps!

No, I don’t think so. US prices were so high, the UK prices were too low….there’s just been a reset. Bad for us good for the US.
