Great that Mounjaro’s finally on the NHS. About time.

But worth saying it’s a really tight rollout. Only 220k people over three years, and the criteria are strict — high BMI plus four health conditions.

Feels like a step forward, but most won’t qualify just yet.

Quick update on today’s big news.

The NHS rollout of Mounjaro has officially started. It’s a major step, but access is limited for now and the eligibility criteria are strict.

We’ve just published a full explainer covering who can get it, what support is included, and what this means going forward:

If this applies to you or you’ve spoken to your GP, feel free to share your experience here.

Such a big moment. Even if most of us won’t qualify right now, it’s a huge step in the right direction. Feels like real recognition that weight loss support matters. Curious to hear if anyone's actually made it through the GP process yet?

Yes it’s a huge step in the right direction with the NHS rollout happening.

I will carry on buying mine from the online doctor as I think from what I’ve read and heard it’s limited to the few to start with.

And with what I save on food and drinks though, I don’t really notice the cost of MJ as seems to balance out so far.
