Can you take a dose early? I am traveling abroad next Thursday for Easter and usually take my shot Friday afternoon. If I take it Thursday, I don’t have to worry about transporting it. Thoughts?

Hi @Bubbles00 – I had a similar situation when I travelled a few months back. From what I’ve read (and was told by my nurse), taking your dose a bit earlier (like 24 hours or so) occasionally is generally fine, especially if it helps avoid the hassle of carrying it through airports and worrying about storage.

That said, it’s always safest to check in with your doctor or pharmacist just to be sure, especially if you’re on a newer dose or still adjusting. Safe travels and enjoy Easter abroad!

Yes, I think you can change the day of the week as long as the time between doses is at least 3 days (72 hours)...but as @MikeMoves says...best not keep changing. hope that helps

Yes, you can take it a day early, then either continue with Thursday doses or extend the next week.
