How do you get past the first few days when no food sounds good? I can't stomach much...I can bareley finish a protein shake or I might have 2 but no food....I can't stomach any food 🤢

Ugh yes, totally get what you mean 😣 those first days were so rough for me too. Nothing sounded even remotely appealing. I legit cried over a bowl of soup once because I just couldn’t deal 😅

What helped me a little was sipping the protein shake slowly over like 30-45 mins instead of trying to get it down fast. And weirdly, sugar free popsicles? Like, not exactly a meal but they made me feel like I was getting something down that wasn’t a total chore.

Also — try not to stress too much if you can’t eat ‘normal’ meals right now. My doc said as long as I was getting some protein and fluids in the first week or so, that was okay and my appetite did come back gradually.

Hang in there 💛 it gets better, promise. You’re def not alone in this!
